40 minute run outside followed by my uber-boring physio exercises. What a difference a good night sleep makes though - I did the same run that I did earlier this week but this time I didn’t stop at all!

As of tomorrow I am taking control of the peanut butter situation. It is not necessary for me to think about peanut butter throughout the day, nor does it have to be incorporated into every meal and snack of the day. I own you peanut butter and you will not defeat me unless i have a hangover, in which case you will probably hang me up to dry.

Post-workout lunch:
1 tin chickpeas
a whole brocolli
loads of spinach
2 spoonfuls of vegetarian green pesto
sprinkle of nutritional yeast
Yes, so I had my first ever hungover workout this morning… It was tough to say the least. LOTS of sweat and light-headedness. I resisted an unhealthy binge and went for a mahoosive pile of veg instead (although I did follow it up with a generous portion of peanut butter on toast!). But I am now offically on my summer hols, so operation beast will be ranked up a notch in my life priorities!

HOLIDAY TIME

LAST DAY OF SUMMER SCHOOOLLL!!! I am officially on my holidays after 3 weeks of volunteer work! I’m going out for a big meal with all the zoo folk to celebrate which is nice. I also had a good physio sesh and got some more exercises to do - he even showed me that I CAN squat if I put a wee platform under my heels to counteract my rubbish ankle flexibility! So yes, there will be food, beer and general merriment on my part this evening. Then for the next 4 weeks before I go to Florida I will slowly build up my running! Happy days!
